Bizmail at SBS Television

Engaging small trading partners in integrated e-business networks is a challenge for many of the corporate and government enterprises sponsoring these initiatives, and a promising approach may lie in solutions that cater for 'lowest common denominator' technology at the small business. AGIMO and Microsoft sponsored such a trial at SBS. As at October 2004, several obstacles have prevented completion of the project, but fully integrated XML document exchange between Oracle Financials and Microsoft Office over a dialup connection has been confirmed as technically feasible, and a number of other lessons have been learned.
