About this Forum
The National Office for the Information Economy (NOIE) is responsible for administering the Whole-of-Government Telecommunications Arrangements (WoGTA) for the supply of telecommunication services on behalf of Australian Government Departments and Agencies (Customers).
To assist Customers to maximise the benefits of these arrangements, NOIE has put in place a Head Agreement and a standardised form of contract for a wide range of telecommunications carriers and carriage service providers. This enables Customers to purchase Services at competitive
Whole-of-Government prices (WoGTA Agreement). NOIE also encourages Service Providers to keep their offerings up-to-date, operates a benchmarking service to assist Customers make appropriate acquisition decisions in this market, provides Customers with information on WoGTA, related contractual and tendering issues.
NOIE is considering updating these services and will be seeking agency suggestions and feedback on improving the service.
This information session presented:
- a brief overview of WoGTA; and
- ideas for improvements to promote discussion.
