Facilitation of Multi-Agency and Whole-of-Government Service Delivery: Case Studies in E-government

Half day Seminar

The Seminar Facilitation of Multi-Agency and Whole-of-Government Service Delivery: Case Studies in E-government Government was held on 2 December 2004 at the Telstra Theatre, Australian War Memorial, Canberra.

Government clients and customers increasingly demand the delivery of services in a seamless way and many challenges faced by departments and agencies are best addressed in a multi-agency or whole-of-government manner.

The use of information and communications technology (ICT) in innovative ways provides opportunities for agencies to work together in new and better ways to deliver results for the Australian Government and the community.

This seminar featured case studies from a range of government agencies which highlight how ICT applications have been successfully deployed to enable multi-agency or whole-of-government approaches. Speakers share their experiences dealing with the specific challenges of these types of applications.
