Transforming government - increasing productivity: Government ICT Initiatives
Half day Seminar
The Seminar Transforming government - increasing productivity: Government ICT Initiatives was held on 20 February 2004 at The Venues Eagel Street Conference Centre, Brisbane.
New technologies are transforming the way government does business and provides services. This transformation is improving the convenience and quality of government services and increasing productivity. E-government is a growing priority of governments across Australia.
This free half-day seminar provided government officers in Queensland with an overview of achievements in e-government, including information about new services and initiatives, such as Austender, case studies on technology-enabled health care and innovation at Caloundra City Council, as well as an update on e-values and critical developments in e-security.
