Program
TIGERS (Trials of Innovative Government Electronic Regional Services) concluded successfully in June 2003. A report into the program has concluded that TIGERS achieved in some very valuable outcomes.
The TIGERS program, which commenced in 2000, conducted a series of individual trials aimed at making it easier for customers to do business with Commonwealth, State and Local Governments. These trials made use of new and innovative technology, developed governance and management arrangements to test the feasibility of integrating services delivered by a range of government agencies.
